Since the quality of the traffic you will get will impact your results it is very important to focus your efforts on quality traffic sources alone. In most cases I’ll recommend that people only use quality tactics like search engine optimization and guest blogging to get traffic to their blogs.
Focus on One Specific Goal
When it comes to improving conversions on your blog you need to know exactly what goal you are trying to achieve and you should focus all your efforts on that goal.
For example, if you have a blog and your main aim for that blog is to gain quality traffic that turns into subscribers you plan to later promote your services to there is no need to display ads on your blogs. All those ads might be distracting your readers from that major goal of subscribing to your blog.
The less cluttered your blog is and the easier it is for people to take a particular action the more likely you will be able to convert your traffic into money and subscribers.
Create a Reputation around a Particular Smaller Subject
The final tip in this article is to create a great reputation for yourself around a single smaller subject instead of trying to be known for everything.
For example, I didn’t start noticing significant changes on my fitness blog until I started creating a brand and reputation around medifast and nutrisystem. I focused all my marketing efforts on these two smaller aspects and over time I have been able to get a lot more results.
The key to getting a lot more conversions is getting your readers to trust and respect you as an expert and the only way to make them do so is by creating a great reputation for yourself around a particular smaller subject.
The subject can vary depending on your niche, but you will end up getting a lot of results from it on the long run.
